That being said GoW3 was the first game in the series where I had fun with some of the other weapons in the game, like the Cestus and blades of Hades. If anything I'll miss the blades, they were super versatile and fun.
I'd be surprised if there wasn't a Square, Square, Triangle or L1+Square/Triangle equivalent in this game. I hope the new one is cool but I will miss the old gameplay. I do think discovering things is going to be a more important aspect of this GoW (for better or worse depending on your personal opinion) and having control of the camera is important for that. As time has gone on, I found GoW's camera of shepherding me in a direction less desirable, but it did lead to some really cool moments with scale, which I think could still be accomplished with this new camera (we've only seen 10 mins of the game). I think giving the player the control of the camera is the right thing to do moving forward. Technically, the old camera was from a third person perspective, :P. I can't say I'm feeling the 3rd person perspective
